Print and Digital are two completely different mediums that require consideration when submitting photographs. A computer display (RGB) will look more vivid with what appears as better brightness and depth of color. Printing (CMYK) uses toner or ink applied to the paper surface providing rich tones. While both look wonderfully, the same photo will not match your view from both mediums.
We personalize your memorial product with your photographs and your text elements. Custom, for you. These elements can include:
portrait photo
name and nickname
dates of birth and death
family photos
order and participants in memorial service
an obituary
a favorite prayer, poem, song
a story about your loved one
After your order is received, Media42 Custom Solutions will send you a confirmation email with a production timeline and a link to a folder on Dropbox. Once your text files and photos are ready to upload:
From the email, click on the Dropbox link. This opens up a Dropbox window. You do not need a Dropbox account.
Drag your photos and text files onto the "Drag Stuff Here" box, or use the "Add Files" button to navigate to your files.
Fill in your name and email address, which helps us identify your items, and click "Upload."
That's it! We will be notified of your upload. You will see a "Finished Uploading" confirmation on your screen, then receive an email confirmation from Dropbox.

Text elements should be sent as files from the program you used to create it. For example, save the favorite poem as a Word document. Then, upload that file.
Please submit digital photos files in their original, unedited format.

we may make minor color and brightness corrections
major editing needs or requests may require additional charges

Finding your favorite photographs for a Memorial Video can be wonderfully rewarding. Begin collecting the photos immediately and determine how long of a video you want (account for approximately 8-10 seconds per photo).
You will receive an order confirmation email from Media42 Custom Solutions with timeline requirements and a link to Dropbox.
Uploading your Photos:

Photograph Preparation Notes:
Photos must be submitted at least five (5) days prior to the requested due date to avoid a rush charge.
Photos will be used as provided to us and placed randomly into the slideshow. Should you prefer a specific order to the photos, please rename each photo file name to a sequential number (001, 002, 003, etc.) before submitting.
Photo-editing available at an additional cost and can affect the production timeline.
Soft instrumental music is included.
You will receive a Preview copy of your Memorial Video. Once approval is received, you will be able to download and share your video.
Production and delivery times vary by each product. We will send you the timeline for submission of all elements to Media42 Custom Solutions to complete your order on time. You can expect a "Proof" rendering within 24-48 hours of submitting all artistic elements. In order to meet your deadline, we will need prompt responses and approval.
We use generic, instrumental music for Memorial Videos. Should you desire copyrighted music for your Memorial Video, please provide us with the audio file (to ensure we have the correct version) and proof of licensing (some funeral homes have licensing rights). We respect music copyright law and only use royalty-free music.
Once we receive your order and payment, we will begin designing your special product. Within 24-48 hours, we will send you a Proof. This is your opportunity to review the work and check for any mistakes or slight alterations. Please note: should you request major design or content changes, such as exchanging pictures, backgrounds, text, etc., you may be charged an additional fee beginning at $35. If you are collaborating with family members, please designate one person to communicate with Media42 Custom Solutions.
We will send you links to PayPal and Venmo in the Proof email unless payment arrangements were made through our Partner. Production of your order will begin after your payment and Proof authorization has been received.
We choose the best delivery option to ensure your product arrives before your memorial service begins. In rare situations, we may need to overnight your order, resulting in an additional charge.
We are sorry, but we do not offer refunds or exchanges for personalized products. Please use our Proofing process to request any changes or corrections before approving your order.
